We are a certified audit firm, rigorous and robust in any aspect of our activity. We are agile and technology driven, while gathering together a team of senior qualified auditors who share common values and high standard work practices.
We serve Romanian subsidiaries of foreign investors, as well as Romanian firms. At present, investments stemming from Germany and the German speaking area represent more than 40% of our clients and of our business, followed by local companies. We include in our portfolio subsidiaries of companies from the Netherlands, France, Norway, Bulgaria, Austria, Turkey and USA.
We address our professional services to companies active in various industries: production, agrobusiness, retail, tech-companies, telecommunication, aviation.
The Partners
Simona Bălan gathered significant knowledge and experience during her career, which has been mainly in the audit, reporting, financial and consulting services sectors.
- During the last 25 years, she worked for reputable international companies such as: Ernst & Young, Romtelecom, Office Depot and TGS Romania. Simona has gained significant expertise in auditing companies reporting under German GAAP while serving as auditor of several Romanian subsidiaries of German Groups over the past 12 years.
- She is familiar with construction, real estate, telecommunication, processing and distribution industries. Simona developed her career in Romania, but also gained significant exposure to the international business community through her membership to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK).
- Simona completed her studies with the Bucharest University of Economics, specializing in International Business. She is fluent in English and French and has basic German speaking skills.
- She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK), of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR) and of the Association of Internal Auditors in Romania (AAIR). She is authorized by the Authority for Public Surveillance of Audit Activity (ASPAAS).
- After successfully managing local audit business Balan Audit independently and under TPG/TGS Romania umbrella, in 2021 Simona started her own business providing audit services under the name Rigor Financial Services.
Her professional record includes audits of financial statements under various standards such as IAS/ IFRS, US GAAP, German GAAP and Romanian standards.
Roxana Dăiciulescu has extensive professional experience in external/ financial audit.
- She started her career in Ernst & Young, where she acquired valuable experience in auditing as well as in financial due diligence assignments, being involved in financial audit for companies (multinational & local) from various industries. Her professional record includes audits of financial statements under various standards (Romanian standards, IAS/ IFRS, US GAAP), due diligence, internal audit, and business advisory services.
- Roxana was then part of the reporting team of Petrom SA.
- She has been teaming up with Simona since 2015, within Balan Audit/TPG/TGS Romania.
- She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK), of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR), of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and of the Association of Internal Auditors in Romania (AAIR). She is authorized by the Authority for Public Surveillance of Audit Activity (ASPAAS).
- Roxana completed her studies at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, specializing in International Business. She is also fluent in English and French and has basic knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
Her professional record includes audits of financial statements under various standards (IAS/ IFRS, US GAAP, German GAAP and Romanian standards).
